M_APP
The M_APP project has two main aims and objectives:
a) The first one is the planning, development, programming testing and sustainable market implementation of a mobile device app (for smartphones or tablet PCs) which allows the documentation, justification and presentation of informal learning experiences and outcomes made during transnational mobility stays (e.g. internships, volunteer activities, citizens exchanges but also private and leisure mobility).
b) The second one is the development of a recognition and accreditation procedure for two of the eight European lifelong learning key competences (learning to learn, social and civic competences) which can be acquired and/or applied during the learning experiences made in connection with the mobility stays.

b) The second one is the development of a recognition and accreditation procedure for two of the eight European lifelong learning key competences (learning to learn, social and civic competences) which can be acquired and/or applied during the learning experiences made in connection with the mobility stays.
For implementing these core aims successfully, a number of sub-goals are defined and envisaged within the M_APP project:
- Exploitation and analysis phases for getting a better understanding about the interlinking of transnational mobility and informal learning experiences. In this context, also the deduction of informal learning categories and settings according to a broad common analysis and description structure will be provided.
- Development of a selection menu structure for informal learning experiences during mobility on the basis of mobile devices applications.
- Programming of three internet applications (mobile app, web app, server) for the documentation of the informal learning experiences during mobility activities on the basis of the pre-defined categories and menu structure.
- Development of a recognition procedure for the informal learning experiences on the basis of the European Guidelines for recognition of non-formal and informal learning provided by CEDEFOP as well as that explored during the project’s own research work
- Test implementation and evaluation of apps and the recognition procedure with 50 adult learners from AT, IE, ES, RO and TR
- Adaptation and revision of apps and recognition procedure according to the outcomes of the pilot evaluation activities
- Development of a dissemination, exploitation and mainstreaming concept for all main products and outcomes for
With these aims it will be possible to provide adult learners for the first time with an innovative ICT-based instrument for making their informal learning transparent, visible, accessible with others and recognisable by others.

With these aims it will be possible to provide adult learners for the first time with an innovative ICT-based instrument for making their informal learning transparent, visible, accessible with others and recognisable by others.
